I'm on a journey of self-discovery, spirituality and joy. I retired early from a career in marketing and merchandising, have traveled to all corners of the globe for work and personal travel and have a deep appreciation for different cultures and ways of life. I'm fortunate to be financially independent and physically fit, with plenty of energy to explore new places and try new things. I love hiking and practicing yoga to stay active and healthy. I'm also passionate about creating, meditating, exploring new music and ideas, and going beyond the superficial to ask the important questions. I just returned from a month-long spiritual pilgrimage in India following Padmasambhava's journey that began in Ujjain, identified by Kyapjé Chatral Rinpoché as an alternative site to the Swat Valley that has the blessings of Uddiyana. It is also where the Nath Sampradhaya had it's beginnings. I was there for a week of Satsang with a realized master culminating in Mahashivratri. I spent time in a center for self reflection and Ayurveda in rural Andrah Prahdesh before going south to Tamil Nadu, north to the foothills of the Himalayas and ending mt journey in Varanasi and Sarnath. I was so in my element!
