I am Pagan but I have a lot of respect for Buddhism. I follow Tibetan Buddhism but also really admire Zen. I have read a couple books by the Dalia Lama including The Universe in a Single Atom. I am very much a mystic and a believer that the world is much more mysterious than we understand. I am an artist, a writer, and a poet. I hope to someday write the Great American novel. I'm looking for friends here because I have lived the life of a loner and am trying to come out of my shell. I tend to be reserved with women and am very impressed by females who take the initiative. For me life is about having great conversations, and that is where I put my faith- in the power of the human conversation. Where I go and what I do in the meantime is largely circumstantial and unimportant. I am a mystic and a wanderer. I have lived a very unique and unusual life and I love to have the chance to tell my story. I have many stories... no matter how strongly I believe them, they are still just stories. I seek the unknown, the new experience, the sense of life as an adventure, of this world as a dream within a dream...

I'm looking for friends first who are as weird as me and who don't want to be normal. I don't like the idea of normal or understand why it's considered so important by others.
